Kathryn Jordan - Founder + Director
Kathryn has been working with children and families for the past 17 years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, her master’s degree from Western Kentucky University, and most recently received her doctorate from Rocky Mountain University.

Amy Rexrode - Assistant Director for Upper School
Amy graduated from Winthrop University and later attended Virginia Tech, where she received her MBA. After spending five years working with HR, Amy served in ministry for over 15 years and has taught students of all ages for over 10 years.

Ragan McDerment - Assistant Director for Lower School
Ragan graduated from the University of South Alabama. After five years in youth ministry and eight years in the medical field, Ragan has spent the past six years in homeschool education.

Amy Bagwell - Media and Communications
Amy graduated from Anderson University in 2010. With fifteen years of work experience in church and school environments, she has worked in Communications for the past nine years.

Keleigh Frazier - Kindergarten + PE
Kelieigh received her elementary education degree from Clemson University and attended Anderson University for graduate school. She has been teaching kindergarten for five years and has worked with children for 10 years.

Layne Ezell - 1st Grade
Layne graduated from Anderson University. This is her tenth year teaching.

Joy Harrison - 2nd Grade
Joy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and an Early Childhood certification from Anderson University. She has taught K4-2nd grade, as well as reading and math intervention, for many years.

Tara Nickles - 3rd Grade + Life Skills
Tara graduated from North Greenville University. This is her third year teaching in elementary education.

Devri Coney - 4th Grade
Devri graduated from Southern Wesleyan University. This is her tenth year teaching.

Cullen Jennings - 4th Grade ELA
Cullen graduated from Anderson University. She has spent time as a stay-at-home mom and seven years as a teacher in elementary education.

Becky Hollis - Lower + Upper School
Becky has recently completed a 21 year journey of homeschooling her children. She has a BS in Special Education/Elementary Education and an MS in Counseling, both from Bob Jones University.

Laura Nelsen - Lower and Upper School History
Laura has experience homeschooling her own children. She also has a General Studies degree with a History emphasis.

Railey Banasky - Upper ELA, Gov and Econ
Railey completed her undergraduate degree at Anderson University. She also graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Railey has spent seven years teaching and ten years working with children in some professional capacity.

Cassi Henry - Upper School Personal Finance + Public Speaking
Cassi graduated from Anderson University. Cassi has worked with students for years, and this is her second year in the classroom.

Ashley Mattison - Upper + Lower School Math
Ashley attended Winthrop University for her undergraduate degree and received her Master’s from Clemson University. This is her eighth year teaching math.

Lauren Anderson - Upper School History + Geography
Lauren received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She went on to receive her master’s from the University of Georgia. Lauren has been teaching for over twenty years.

Krista Huff - Upper School Spanish
Krista graduated from Trident Technical College but learned Spanish through family, travel, and life experience. This is her second year teaching.

Allison Jones - Upper School ELA
Allison recently graduated from Anderson University and is working towards her master’s. This is her second year teaching.

Katherine received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University in Mathematics Teaching, and her Master’s degree is from Anderson University. She has been teaching for 12 years.

Stephen Davis - Upper School Computer Science
Stephen is a current Cyber Security major at Anderson University. He is the Student Government Senatory and member of the Cybersecurity Club.

Mark Hyndman - Upper School Physics
Mark graduated from the University of South Carolina. He is a retired public school teacher of 33 years, with 25 years in Physics.

Tessie Kaufman - Upper School Digital Photography
Tessie has worked with children at church for 17 years and has previously taught at a co-op. Additionally, she is a professional photographer.

Lindsey Norris - Upper School Science
Lindsey graduated from Georgia Southern University. She started teaching in 2002 and has taught in and out of the classroom for over 13 years.

Carmen Oberstar - Upper School Math
Carmen received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University. She has taught in a classroom for 13 years and 20 years homeschooling and teaching co-op classes.

Amy graduated from South Dakota State University, as well as Luther Seminary. She has been teaching for 14 years.

Susie Spainhour - Upper School Sign Language
Susie received her from M.ED Columbia College, a BA from University of Cincinnati, and an from Associates Spartanburg Technical College. Susie has been an interpreter for 26 years.

Kerri Stone - Upper School ELA
Kerri has a degree in Secondary Education and briefly taught in public schools. The majority of her teaching experience is from homeschooling her own children.

Christine Treash - Upper School ELA
While Christine has a general business undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University, her teaching experience comes from schooling her children at home for the last eleven years.

Caryn earned her Art Education degree from Anderson University. She previously taught art for eight years in public education.

Ashley is an English Education professor at Anderson University and has been teaching for 14 years.

Minnie Jones - Preschool + Enrichment
Minnie attended Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She has worked with an array of students. From college to alternative students, special education, and kindergarten. She currently cares for our teacher’s preschool-age children.
